**Position Overview**:
This role involves capturing and creating video content and responsible for recording and editing videos for a wide range of purposes, including events, documentaries, commercials, films, and online content using cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage, and they often edit and post-produce the videos to meet specific client or project requirements

**Key Responsibilities: -**
- Capturing high-quality video footage using cameras, tripods, and other equipment.
- Setting up and adjusting lighting, audio, and camera settings for optimal results.
- Composing shots and angles to convey the desired message or story.
- Recording clear and high-quality audio, which may involve using microphones, audio recorders, and audio editing software. Syncing audio with video during post-production.
- Editing video footage to create a cohesive narrative or message. Adding music, sound effects, and graphics as needed.
- Color correction and video enhancement to improve visual quality. Creating transitions and effects to enhance storytelling.
- Collaborating with clients or directors to understand project goals and requirements.
- Creating storyboards or shot lists to plan the sequence of shots and scenes.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting video and audio equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Keeping up to date with the latest technology and equipment trends.
- Managing and organizing video files, ensuring they are labeled, stored, and backed up properly.
- Communicating with clients to understand their vision and expectations. Providing updates and revisions as needed throughout the project.
- Coordinating with other team members, such as directors, producers, and editors, to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Ensuring that the work complies with copyright and licensing laws.
- Obtaining necessary permissions and releases for individuals or locations featured in the videos.
- Staying creative and innovative in storytelling techniques and video production styles to engage and captivate audiences.
- Being adaptable and able to work in various settings and environments, from controlled studios to on-location shoots.
- Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver videos on schedule.
- Keeping up with industry trends and software updates to enhance skills and stay competitive in the field.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Understand how to use various types of cameras, from DSLRs to professional video cameras.
- Learn the principles of framing, angles, and shot composition.
- Master the use of natural and artificial lighting to create visually appealing shots.
- Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro to edit and enhance footage.
- Understand audio recording and editing techniques for clear and high-quality sound.
- Storytelling: Develop the ability to tell compelling stories through visuals.
- Have a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and a unique visual style.
- Be able to adapt to different environments and shoot in various conditions.
- Familiarize yourself with different types of cameras, lenses, microphones, tripods, and other videography equipment.
- Learn video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Familiarize yourself with color grading and post-production software.
- While formal education isn't always necessary, taking courses or earning a degree in film, videography, or a related field can be advantageous.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and online tutorials to continually improve your skills.
- Create a portfolio of your work to showcase your skills to potential clients or employers.
- Build relationships with other professionals in the industry, such as photographers, directors, and producers.
- Join industry associations and attend networking events.
- Be able to effectively communicate with clients, understand their vision, and convey your ideas.
- Understand the business side of videography, including contracts, pricing, and marketing.
- Familiarize yourself with copyright laws and permissions required for filming in various locations.
- Videography often involves long hours and physically demanding tasks, so good stamina is essential.
- Be able to think on your feet and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during a shoot.

**Salary**: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
