**Day-to-dayoperations**:

- Develop procurement strategy and plans for all assigned packages at the start of the project and also during the EPC bidding phase.
- Establish package strategies and criticality assessments in line with project and business unit objectives.
- Combining or splitting the several packages to align with budget, schedule and technicalities or construction strategy of project,
- Manage and co-ordinate procurement activities and deliverables of assigned Procurement Packages
- Establish and maintain the procurement budget
- Establish supplier bidders lists and conduct market analysis
- Prequalification of suppliers and issue of inquiries
- Follow up of deliveries and progress monitoring, Material release Freight forwarding and receipts control
- Identify and develop required sources of supply and maintain cooperative working relationships with vendors to stay current with trends and technologies, products and services.
- Source the suitable supplier (for EPC equipment package and bulk materials) by obtaining quotes from supplier (categories which is available in supplier master, the approved vendor list for the EPC project and other techniques available.
- Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation and obtaining approvals from the Engg. department.
- Preparation of Commercial Bid Evaluation by selecting the technically lowest supplier considering all aspects and obtaining necessary budget approvals, negotiate and obtain best competitive price and create purchase orders.
- Resolve problems and discrepancies timely which occur due to non-compliance to agreed scope and delivery.
- Expedite all the procurement process and ensure the delivery as per committed delivery date. Report the delay timely with action points to overcome the delay.
- Submit the procurement progress report regularly for assigned EPC Packages.

**Technical Knowldege**
- Sound technical knowledge in the procurement of static + Rotating equipment required for EPC projects.
- Must have experience as package responsible buyer for the critical offshore oil and gas packages e.g. HP and LP Gas Compressor package, TEG package, Water Injection Package, Rotating and Static Equipment package, Gas turbine generator package, Produced water treatment Packages, etc.
- Must have an experience right from the EPC bidding phase till full execution of procurement for topside packages on major offshore projects for topside,
- Must be able to finalize contractual “Terms and Conditions” with suppliers as per applicable laws/regulations of the project,
- Must be able to lead the process and work with Engineering and other production departments during the technical review of packages and scope finalization
- Fully trained and knowledgeable with relevant Safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
- Up to date with modern purchasing methods, procedures, and specifications preparation.
- Broad knowledge of international trade & shipping terms.
- Broad knowledge of EPC procurement terms and conditions including warranty requirements.
- Sound knowledge of technical terminology, particularly that use in a EPC environment.
- Strong background with resolution of procurement issues,
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple procurement activities concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with departmental / project objectives.
- Planning & Organizing, hand on experience in MS excel for complex commercial evaluations.

**Education **- Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering iscipline or equivalent.

**Training **
- Basic accounting.

**Experience**
- **05 years’ experience in procurement Static + Rotating equipment’s required for EPC Projects.**:

- **Working experience in major EPC required projects in Oil & Gas sector**

**Job Types**: Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: AED18,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month
