One of the leading producers in the petrochemicals industry is looking for a senior quality control professional experienced in solvents and lubricants to join its quality control team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Required Knowledge and Experience in formulation, blending, testing and cost optimization for all segments of petrochemicals as per the API Guidelines

Key Products: Solvents, Lube oil (Multi grade/Mono Grade), Engine oil (Semi Synthetic/Fully Synthetic), Transmission & Clutch Fluids, Brake Fluid, Transformer oil, Jellies, Coolant/Anti-Freeze, Petroleum Jellies, Thinners, Automotive Greases, Hydraulic & Industrial Oils, Metal Working oils, Cutting Oils, Compressor Oils

Any prior experience in solvents and plasticiser industry will also beneficial

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participates in translating business goals into research objectives, plans, and deliverable.
- Complying with new product formulation in regards to specification, MSDS, COA, Grades and Codes.
- Implementing and Executing SOPs for R&D in line of formulation of new products
- Performing instrument qualification & preparing SOPs for all procedures & instruments.
- Performing pre-formulation & formulation trials for any of the products under development or redevelopment inside or outside the plant according to the predetermined procedures.
- Prepare samples for stability, export & Comparison studies.
- Documentation and reporting all formulation trials observation and results according to the predetermined procedures.
- Performing pilot trials and validation batches inside and outside as directed.
- Complying with the applicable cGMP standards and procedures.
- Reporting any other event or observation concerning equipment, utility, method, product or procedure and any other relevant item in the R&D department.
- Ensures productivity is sufficient to meet time constraints established for current procedures and processes.
- To perform any other task related to the job description or nature.
- Responsible for complete laboratory department involving evaluation and analysis of all types of Samples and consumer product using all Sophisticated Laboratory Instruments.
- Ensure and monitor all activities related to QMS, OHSHAS and EHS are in line with the industry standards.
- Responsible in planning, implementing, monitoring, and identifying areas for improving productivity and implementation of QMS as per ISO.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Systems, maintain, and update Quality Manual/Documents plan and conduct Internal Audits and monitor corrective action through Periodic Reviews to meet overall R&D Standards as per Quality objectives.
- To coordinate for the customer complaint response after analysis & ensure necessary corrective or preventive actions are taken.
- Provide training for team regarding quality tools and quality system related issues.
- Analyze the competencies and limitations of in-house Quality team members and identifying the areas where third party inspection or trainings are necessary.
- Review the existing system continuously, suggest for amendments for continuous improvement
