**Regulatory Manager**

Based in Abu Dhabi

**Purpose of the position**:
The Regulatory Manager will take the leading role in managing Wizz Abu Dhabi regulatory affairs and obtaining traffic rights. He/she will drive Wizz Air’s expansion to new, regulatory restricted markets. The Regulatory Manager will report to the senior Manager of Government Affairs and Security.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading Wizz Air’s efforts to secure market access to new countries and jurisdictions;
- Managing the Wizz Abu Dhabi traffic rights portfolio, procuring designations, extra-bilateral rights and other operating permissions;
- Managing the Foreign Airline Registration process for entering new countries;
- Securing seasonal route permits and conducting revisions as needed;
- Driving automation and process improvement of traffic right’s management
- Close cooperation with Commercial teams to understand Wizz Air’s strategic focus and drive market access efforts accordingly.

Building relationships with industry regulators and Civil Aviation Authorities across the network

**Requirements**:

- UAE National
- Completed university or college degree is a must.
- Good understanding of aviation regulatory landscape and traffic rights.
- Ideally will have prior experience in both Commercial and Operational areas of an airline.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Business mindset and ability to synthesize information into recommendations
- Good oral and written presentations skills
- Team work and strong interpersonal skills
- Fluent spoken / written English/Arabic

Flexibility to travel as required away from Head Office
