We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Midwife to join our dynamic healthcare team as part of the Delivery Room staff. As a Midwife in the Delivery Room, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive maternal care, supporting expectant mothers through the labor and delivery process, and ensuring a safe and positive birthing experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct initial assessments of pregnant women to determine their health status and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide prenatal education and counseling to expectant mothers and their families.
- Monitor the progress of labor, assessing the well-being of both the mother and the baby.
- Assist in the delivery of babies, providing guidance and support during labor and birth.
- Administer medications and interventions as necessary, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Offer emotional support and encouragement to laboring mothers and their families.
- Conduct postpartum assessments and provide care for both the mother and the newborn.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Document patient information, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Stay current with advancements in midwifery and obstetric practices through continuing education.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's and/or Diploma in Midwifery
- Current state licensure as a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM)
- Minimum one year experience after license
- Experience in hospital-based set-up with at least a 100-bed capacity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
