As a video editor specializing in social media, your role is to create captivating and visually appealing video content specifically tailored for various social media platforms. You will work closely with the social media team, content creators, or digital marketers to produce engaging videos that effectively communicate messages, promote brands, and drive user engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing: Utilize video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or specialized social media editing tools) to edit and optimize video content for specific social media platforms. This includes trimming, sequencing, and enhancing footage to create concise, attention-grabbing videos.

Storytelling for Social Media: Collaborate with content creators and digital marketers to understand the desired narrative and marketing goals for each social media video. Craft compelling stories or messages that align with the brand's identity and resonate with the target audience on social media.

Optimizing for Social Media Platforms: Adapt video content to fit the specific requirements and formats of different social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, or LinkedIn. Optimize video length, aspect ratio, captions, and thumbnails to maximize engagement and visibility.

Motion Graphics and Animations: Incorporate motion graphics, animated text, overlays, and other visual effects to enhance the storytelling and capture viewers' attention within the limited timeframe of social media videos. Create visually appealing elements that align with the brand's style and messaging.

Audio Enhancement: Edit and mix audio tracks, including dialogue, sound effects, music, and voiceovers, to ensure optimal sound quality and clarity. Adjust audio levels to suit the platform and ensure a seamless viewing experience on social media.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the social media team, content creators, or digital marketers to understand their objectives and implement their feedback effectively. Collaborate on video concepts, brainstorm ideas, and communicate project progress and timelines.

Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, formats, features, and best practices in social media video content. Continuously explore new techniques, effects, and storytelling approaches to keep the brand's videos fresh and engaging.

Analytics and Optimization: Monitor video performance metrics on social media platforms, such as views, engagement, and shares. Analyze data to gain insights into audience preferences and behaviors. Use this information to optimize future video content and strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proficiency in video editing software, specifically those compatible with social media platforms (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or specialized social media editing tools).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their formats, requirements, and user behaviors.
- Creative storytelling abilities, with a focus on concise and impactful messaging for social media.
- Proficiency in motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content.
- Sound editing skills, including audio synchronization, mixing, and optimizing for social media platforms.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and the ability to derive insights from video performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Creative thinking and the ability to adapt to emerging trends and platform updates.

**Salary**: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
