We are looking for a Patient-focused and empathic registered nurse seeking position with growing medical team at Al Shifa Al Uropi Medical Center. Responsibilities of a Refistered Nurse include:
The obstetrics branch of this field includes pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, labor and delivery and postpartum care.Nurses in this field focus on the health of the mother and unborn baby, providing a range of medical and emotional support services to women.
Specific job responsibilities include:
- Educating patients on family planning, fertility, and health-related decisions during pregnancy
- Performing prenatal screenings and exams, including vital signs, urine and blood tests and fatal ultrasounds
- Advising patients on risks and options when facing abnormal pregnancies or pregnancy complications
- Prepping the patient and exam room for labour and delivery
- Assisting obstetricians and midwives during delivery
- Providing care for women in labour through pain management, coaching and ongoing fatal monitoring
- Assessing and monitoring newborn health after delivery, including measuring vital signs and performing routine assessments
- Providing education to new parents on newborn care, including breastfeeding, changing, swaddling, feeding, bathing and nutrition
- Monitoring women's health after delivery
- Cleaning, measuring, weighing, and administering vaccinations to new-borns Ideal Profile:
- Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current license (DHA)
Job requirements
- BS.c In Nursing
- You have at least 2 years’ experience including solid experience in a similar role within Healthcare & Life sciences.
- You are a strong networked & relationship builder
- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
- You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
