Drilling Forman

As a **Drilling Foreman for KSA Branch,** you should be having a good Knowledge of equipment, techniques and methods and the ability to perform drilling and field-testing operations during the course of geotechnical investigation projects in accordance with relevant standard methods/standard operation procedures, and project specifications.

**Qualifications**:
1. Diploma or secondary school or a related field (preferred).

2. Knowledge of drilling tools (core barrels/ SPT, Shelby tube...etc)

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in English is a must (Arabic/ Hindi/ Urdu are also advantageous).

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Lead and supervise drilling crews during the drilling.

2. Basic knowledge of methods and procedures for drilling of geotechnical boreholes and performing insitu testing in drilled boreholes (SPT, ground water measurement, etc.

3. Knowledge of drill rigs operation, routine drilling techniques, drilling tools and accessories, like rotary drilling, percussion drillingetc.

4. Oversee the setup of the drilling and sampling and efficiency used of the drilling tools

5. Monitor drilling progress and daily reporting.

6. Coordinate drilling activities of major projects in liaison with customer representatives to ensure compliance to project specifications and contractual obligations.

7. Optimze drilling operations cost and efficiency.

8. Schedule and oversee routine maintenance of drill rigs.

9. Maintain and optimize an inventory of drilling tools.

10. Train, and supervise drilling crew members.

11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

12. Provide regular updates on drilling progress, challenges, and solutions.

13. HSE knowledge and accountability.

**Experience**:
1. Experience in drilling with a minimum of (10) years in a field of site/geotechnical drilling role.

2. Proven experience in drilling, with a focus on leadership and management.
