**Job Title**: Cleaner

**Job Summary**:
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment in various settings, such as offices, schools, hospitals, and public spaces. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that facilities are well-kept and presentable.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cleaning Tasks**:
1. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris.

2. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.

3. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.

4. Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste.

**Surface Cleaning**:
1. Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, light switches, and countertops.

2. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to ensure they are free of smudges and streaks.

**Maintenance**:
1. Report any maintenance issues, such as broken equipment, plumbing problems, or safety hazards, to the supervisor.

2. Replenish supplies, such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products, as needed.

**Specialized Cleaning**:
1. Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing, floor waxing, and window washing, according to a regular schedule or as needed.

2. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals for various surfaces and tasks, following safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.

**Organizational Duties**:
1. Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and store it properly after use.

2. Keep janitorial closets and storage areas organized and well-stocked.

**Customer Interaction**:
1. Respond to customer or employee requests for specific cleaning needs or concerns promptly and courteously.

2. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a coordinated approach to cleaning tasks.

**Safety and Compliance**:
1. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

2. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for specific cleaning tasks.

3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and tools, including vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality.

**Working Conditions**:
