We are seeking a Catering Supervisor to oversee our catering operations. In this role, you will:

- Direct daily activities of our catering services.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of each client's specific needs for their events.
- Assist in event planning, mindful of clients' budget and time restrictions.
- Liaise with clients to fully grasp their requirements.
- Seek out and select vendors, balancing quality and cost efficiency.
- Negotiate terms with vendors to secure advantageous agreements.
- Organize and execute catering events, ensuring top-tier service is delivered.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, vendors, and event venues.
- Coordinate client needs and manage the intricacies of event planning.
- Detail event components including menu selection, proposal drafting, and financial documentation.
- Generate accurate financial reports and oversee timely payment collections.
- Supervise catering personnel, conducting hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Administer inventory control and procurement of necessary supplies.
- Tackle any event challenges proactively, ensuring smooth operations.
- Prepare for various eventualities that might impact event quality.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with culinary staff on menu development and catering packages.
- Manage budgeting and billing processes.
- Resolve customer complaints and address issues promptly.
- Conduct final event checks and oversee all aspects of event execution.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse event requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales and event management.
- Demonstrated ability in meaningful negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record as an Events Planner or Organizer.
- An impressive portfolio of previously managed events (team buildings, corporate meetings, parties, corporate events).
- Exceptional time management and communication skills.
- Strong sales skills and the ability to establish productive business relationships.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to provide references from previous clients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: From AED2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sharjah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
