**Responsibilities**:

- Organize and execute inspection jobs with professionalism.
- Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.
- Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
- Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls, and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.
- Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
- Verify special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications.
- Checks power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system, Remote terminal unit, instruments, cables, tunings etc.
- Performs visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection.
- Execute Inspection, interpret results and prepare daily report.
- Ensure the best quality of execution.
- Any other duties and tasks, as assigned by QC Supervisors and Managers on the project.
- Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Statement of Integrity.

**Technical Knowledge / Skills**
- Ability to coordinate with client for the preparations and inspection, as per agreed scope of work or inspection plan.
- Ability to make judgments on the inspection findings.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Possess and applies risk-based thinking and works in compliance with SGS Safety rules and obligations.

**Training / Qualifications**
- CSWIP 3.1/3.2/AWS Certification.
- BGAS / NACE certification.
- Training, Experience and Certification in the relevant discipline, for which they are qualified to work.
- Be familiar with applicable engineering standards and codes that will be used during QC surveillance activities in onshore and offshore fabrication projects.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or a Diploma of Associate Engineer in relevant discipline.

**Experience**
- Previous ADNOC approvals for the discipline categories.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in relevant discipline.
- Good offshore work experience such as Pipelaying, Hook up, Jacket / Riser installation, platform installation etc.
