**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer to join our legal team, specializing in Construction and Real Estate law. This role will provide comprehensive legal advice and support for various construction and real estate projects across our group of companies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Legal Advisory & Compliance**:

- Provide legal advice and support to management on construction and real estate matters, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including construction agreements, property leases, sales agreements, and service contracts.
- Advise on and ensure adherence to local laws, building codes, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations.

**Risk Management**:

- Identify potential legal risks in construction and real estate transactions and advise on mitigation strategies.
- Assess, manage, and resolve disputes with contractors, suppliers, clients, and government agencies, both through negotiation and litigation.

**Contract Management**:

- Oversee and manage the lifecycle of construction and real estate contracts, ensuring timely renewals and modifications.
- Ensure proper documentation and retention of contracts and legal files related to construction and real estate transactions.

**Litigation Support**:

- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitration, and mediations related to construction and real estate disputes.
- Coordinate with external counsel when necessary to ensure effective litigation and dispute resolution.

**Regulatory Compliance**:

- Monitor and interpret changes in construction and real estate regulations, keeping the group informed of legislative updates.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and government agencies to obtain permits, approvals, and licenses for construction and property-related activities.

**Stakeholder Management**:

- Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and architects to provide legal guidance on project development and execution.
- Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective legal support across departments.

**Qualifications and Skills**

**Education**: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) is required; Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) is preferred.

**Experience**: Minimum 8 years of experience as a lawyer, with at least 5 years in the construction and real estate sectors, preferably in the UAE.

**Technical Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of UAE construction and real estate laws, including contracts, environmental regulations, and dispute resolution.

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Arabic and English preferred.

**Experience**:

- Construction: 5 years (required)
- Real Estate: 5 years (required)
- Group of companies: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- Arabic & English (required)

License/Certification:

- Degree in Law (LLB) is required; (LLM) is preferred (required)
