We are currently looking for technically competent & performance driven Workshop Supervisor to work for QARUOTY CAR SERVICE in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Manager, you will manage and lead a team of technical people in allocating workload and managing the day to day operations to drive workshop performance. It requires coordinating with different departments and operation team Fix It Right process is followed and vehicles are delivered on time in excellent condition.
- Workshop Capacity Planning and Loading
- Optimizing Productivity, efficiency and workshop output and review for continuous improvement
- Right job allocation for right technician
- Controlling productive time and distribution of jobs
- Administer Technicians’ time booking in time clocking system
- Control and Plan Carry over jobs as well as work in progress
- To implement the Dealer standards on the workshop floor.
- Ensure Fix it Right First Time (FRFT) by assigning right jobs to right technician
- Ensures a Quality job and delivers the vehicles at promised time.
- Additional repair jobs are informed to Service Advisors which ensures rectification of all the necessary repairs in the vehicles.
- Identify & recommend training needs for technician
- Quality Performance Development Review with technicians
- Conduct effective daily and weekly meetings with Technicians team for necessary updates.
- Providing Quality Inspection Check Sheets.
- Maintaining Service Bulletins and Workshop Manuals.

Your key responsibilities are as follows:

- Maintain good shop floor efficiency for quick & timely vehicle delivery and good profitability.
- Ensure Technicians’ optimum utilization, productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure proper job distribution, control and follow-up so that work is done correctly and as per schedule.
- Ensure quality work for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention by minimizing repeat jobs hence increasing total workshop efficiency.
- Train / coach to improve the ability of the team members and their efficiency.
- Carries out road test before commencing job to confirm the complaint and test (static & dynamic) later to confirm effectiveness of repair.

Ensure strict implementation of company rules, regulations and procedures (including warranty) within company policies.

**1) Workshop Management**
- Attendance
- Ensure and management of attendance of all associates.
- Planning & scheduling and Time clocking
- Plan, Review, Manage and Implement workshop operation, productivity and efficiency of Technician & wash bay as per Standard Operating Procedure.
- Quality Control
- Review and manage quality control and action deviation to ensure reoccurrence through training and coaching.
- On-time delivery of vehicles as per promised delivery time.

**2) People Management**
- On the Job coaching and identify training needs.
- Conduct performance management review, Individual Development plan and disciplinary action where required
- Promote associate engagement and conduct impact planning session.
- Recruitment as per capacity model.

**3) Vehicle Warranty Repair Management**
- Adherence to warranty process, rules and regulations as stipulated to the Principal.

**4) Workshop Inventory**
- Tools and Equipment’
- All tools and equipment’s availability/maintenance
- Ensure all technicians tools and equipment comply as per distributor tool list.
- Review current and assets and recommend replacement and additional equipment and maintenance, Calibrations.
- Manage asset disposal.
- Lubricant and Consumables Stock
- Consumables and wash bay product management
- Monthly Oil and consumable inventory audit.

**Skills**

**Required Skills to be successful**:
1- Customer management and service experience

2- Strong analytical and communication skills

3 - Timely Resolution and Technical skills

4 - Suggest training needs for other technicians; also undergo training and update self-knowledge.

5 - Provide technical input to spare parts staff to assist in correct part identification and supply.

6 - 3 / 4years' experience as a Diagnostic Technician coming from a big automotive dealership doing diagnosis and general mechanic repairs in UAE.

7 - Has a valid UAE driving license

8 - Automotive Diploma or Technical experience 6 years and more

9 - Able to read, understand, speak and write English well enough to follow mandated trainings and standard instructions.

**Salary**: From AED3,300.00 per month
