Turner/fitter

The Manual Lathe Machine Operator will be required to work with both manual mill and manual lathe machines.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Must be familiar with machining - primarily Aluminum, MS, Stainless Steel, and soft steel
- Must be efficient at using all machine shop measuring tools including micrometers, veneer calipers, and indicators
- Must have set up experience and understand tooling
- Must be able to read and understand dimension drawings and make parts to the print
- Must be familiar with and be able to perform to a production shop level
- Ability to do various setups without a supervisor
- Other responsibilities as assigned

**Qualifications**
- The minimum requirement for the position is 2+ years of experience in both milling and lathes
- Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends during the busy season when required

**Physical/Work Environments**
- The worker will be working in a production shop setting
- The worker must be able to lift 50 pounds
- The worker must be able to stand throughout the duration of their shift
