The Project HSE Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures for high voltage cabling projects. This role ensures compliance with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies to foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **HSE Management System Development**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems tailored to high voltage cabling projects.
- Establish project-specific HSE plans and procedures.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure all project activities comply with local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance.
- **Risk Assessment and Mitigation**:

- Conduct risk assessments for project activities, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain risk registers and ensure proper documentation.
- **Incident Management**:

- Lead investigations into incidents, near-misses, and non-compliance issues.
- Develop corrective and preventive action plans and ensure timely implementation.
- **Training and Development**:

- Develop and deliver HSE training programs for all project personnel, including induction, refresher, and specialized training.
- Ensure all personnel are aware of their HSE responsibilities.
- **Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Monitor HSE performance metrics and report findings to senior management.
- Prepare regular HSE reports, including statistics, trends, and action plans.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies on HSE matters.
- Participate in HSE meetings and forums to promote safety awareness and best practices.
- **Emergency Preparedness**:

- Develop and maintain emergency response plans specific to high voltage cabling projects.
- Coordinate and conduct emergency drills and simulations.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for HSE improvement and implement best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new regulations, and technological advancements in HSE.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- **Certifications**: Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP, or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 7-10 years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within high voltage cabling or electrical infrastructure projects.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices related to high voltage cabling projects.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in HSE management software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

**Work Environment**:

- The role requires a mix of office and fieldwork, including site visits to project locations.
- Must be willing to travel and work in diverse environmental conditions.
