Food Photographer

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct professional photo shoots of food items, beverages, and food-related products in a studio or on location.
- Arrange food items, props, and backgrounds to create visually appealing compositions.
- Utilize natural and artificial lighting techniques to enhance the appearance of food and create desired moods.
- Edit and retouch photos using editing software to ensure high-quality, polished images.
- Collaborate closely with chefs, restaurateurs, food stylists, and art directors to understand their vision and deliver images that meet their expectations.
- Maintain and operate photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and editing software.
- Stay updated on current trends in food styling and photography techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a food photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing food photography skills.
- Proficiency in photography techniques, including composition, lighting, and camera settings.
- Knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of image quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to different environments and client preferences.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in commercial photography, particularly in food photography, is highly desirable.
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in food photography.
