Procurement Buyer

**Job Title**: Procurement Buyer - Manufacturing Industry

**Location**: Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE
**Salary**: AED 6,000 - 7,000 per month
**Contract Duration**: 6 months (with potential extension)
**Visa Requirement**: Own visa preferred

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sourcing & Procurement**:

- Identify and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, components, and other manufacturing-related products.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Raise purchase orders and manage procurement processes from order creation to delivery.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or discrepancies.
- **SAP System**:

- Use SAP software to manage procurement activities, track inventory, and process purchase orders and supplier invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities in SAP for reporting and auditing purposes.
- **Cost Control & Budgeting**:

- Assist in managing the procurement budget and ensuring cost savings without compromising on quality.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements in the procurement process.
- **Logistics & Coordination**:

- Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth receipt and storage of purchased goods.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that materials and goods are delivered on time to meet production schedules.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:

- Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation for auditing purposes.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- 3-4 years of experience in procurement within the **manufacturing industry**.
- Strong experience in using **SAP** for procurement and inventory management. SAP experience is Mandatory.
- Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers in a manufacturing setting.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
