Slimming Therapist is responsible for service delivery, in house revenue generation in slimming services under the general guidance of the Center Manager and in coordination with other slimming specialists such as Physiotherapists & Dietician.
- Provide customers with slimming consultations in an effective, excellent, and knowledgeable manner.
- Conduct daily slimming sales and operation assessments and monitor every slimming transaction made in the Slimming Department.
- Provide slimming customers with regular follow up to evaluate their progress.
- Work closely with slimming clients for different slimming programs, including weight loss and figure correction plans.
- Perform body mass analysis and evaluate anthropometric, biochemical, and dietary history to assess client’s nutritional status and nutritional needs.
- Monitor and advise slimming clients about their dietary activity in line with their slimming program.
- To ensure that service delivery is 100% as per clinic protocol.
- To ensure timely completion of Zero Session as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- To record client’s measurements at:Enquiry stageZero session stageAfter every month for full body Every session for spot reduction therapies as per SOP.
- To ensure trolley, bed setting in the therapy and appliance rooms as per the SOP and overall cleanliness of the slimming services area.
- To lay out and use the products service wise as per SOP.
- To ensure to disinfect appliance pads before every session and clean them weekly as per SOP.
- To deliver expected centimeter loss through scientific service delivery.
- To immediately highlight any program or medical contraindications seen during the session to the Slimming head immediately.
- To keep in view and adhere to the Medical Contraindications with respect to Therapies as directed by manager prior to respective client’s session.
- Check & record the weight of each client on the Client Program Record (CPR).
- Check & record the weight of each client on Daily Record Register (DRR)
- Review client’s progress post each session.
- Provide a minimum of 15 minutes bed-side counseling each week post each slimming session
- Recommend need based slimming treatments for upselling/rebooking.
- In absence of the physiotherapists to provide customized activity plans to clients
- Ensure clients meet the targeted weight loss targets set by the Clinic Manager
- Counsel and guide clients facing weight plateaus and suggest appropriate course of action.
- Responsible for general upkeep of the slimming department. Any dysfunction of appliances to be immediately escalated to manager.
- To regularly update and correctly complete all related documentation.
- To ensure documentation are maintained accurately. Prepare and maintain all necessary reports / paperwork on a regular basis.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of appointment planner.
- Ensure accuracy of all relevant financial and operational data is captured, maintained and reported timely.
- To ensure related medical problems of clients to be consulted with Manager before starting treatment for proper results.
- Performs lymphatic massage under the supervision of a physician.
- Plan and execute indoor and outdoor events timely.
- To constantly upgrade oneself and multitask to achieve the progression level.
- Perform outdoor duties incase slimming events are organized beyond center premises.

Performs all duties in a professional and confidential manner
- Diploma in Slimming Therapy or Beauty Therapy
- Bachelor degree in Nursing or Physiotherapy
- Minimum 2 - 4 years of proven work experience as a Slimming Therapist / Facial & Body Therapist in an established wellness / aesthetic clinic
- Comprehensive knowledge of treatments, procedures, and technology.
- Hands-on experience in performing slimming maintenance treatments.
- Knowledge of proper hygiene practices and strong understanding of aesthetics and various skin care procedures
- Knowledge of peri-operative, beautician, and plastic surgery services: locally, regionally, and internationally
- Ability to increase sales of treatments, packages, services, and products.
- Innovative with strong service focused approach, interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Must possess skills to maintain proper therapeutic relationship.
- Confident and competent to attend all the cases.
- Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and put people at ease.
- Ability to encourage patients to develop good preventative care habits.
- Ability to quickly identify problems and determine effective treatments.
- Computer literacy
- Maintain good appearance and proper demeanor at work.
- Safety conscious, motivated, able to manage pressure, takes initiative.
- Is service oriented and customer focused
- Fluent in English & Arabic (preferable)
- DOH License as Registered Nurse / Physiotherapist / Beauty Therapist / Massage Therapist
