We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Clinical Psychologist with a valid DOH license to join our team. The Clinical Psychologist will provide evidence-based mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, for a diverse population of patients. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans and improve overall mental well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Patient Assessment and Diagnosis**:

- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interviews to understand patients' mental health needs and concerns.
- Administer and interpret a variety of psychological tests and diagnostic tools, ensuring accurate diagnosis of mental health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, patient history, and best practices.
- **Therapeutic Interventions**:

- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and other relevant approaches.
- Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions, focusing on managing symptoms, coping skills, and improving emotional health.
- Modify therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of patients across diverse backgrounds and life stages.
- **Patient Education and Support**:

- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and healthy coping strategies.
- Support patients in developing goals for recovery, enhancing self-awareness, and building resilience.
- Act as an advocate for patients’ mental health needs, promoting wellness and understanding in the broader community.
- **Collaboration with Healthcare Team**:

- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, coordinated care.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions to discuss patient progress and adapt care plans as needed.
- Refer patients to additional resources or specialists when necessary, maintaining continuity of care.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Maintain detailed and confidential records of assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes according to DOH regulations and facility protocols.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards, as well as DOH guidelines on patient care, privacy, and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with mental health research, new therapeutic techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- **Crisis Intervention**:

- Respond effectively to psychiatric emergencies, providing crisis intervention and stabilization for patients experiencing acute distress.
- Develop and implement safety plans for patients at risk, ensuring they receive appropriate support and follow-up care.

**Qualifications**
- **Licensure**: Valid DOH License
- **Education**: Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
- **Experience**: Minimum 3 years UAE experience in clinical psychology or mental health counseling
- **Skills**: Strong analytical, empathetic communication, and active listening skills
