**Job Summary**:A barista is responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of coffee and espresso beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Coffee Preparation**:Expertly prepare a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, such as lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos, and drip coffee, following specific recipes and brewing techniques.
Ensure the consistent quality of coffee products by monitoring and adjusting the coffee grind, machine settings, and brewing time.

**Customer Service**:Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Take customer orders, provide menu recommendations, and answer questions about coffee and other products.
Handle cash and process payments accurately.

**Quality Control**:Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of coffee equipment, countertops, and serving areas.
Regularly clean and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
Monitor the freshness of coffee beans and other ingredients to ensure product quality.

**Menu Knowledge**:Stay informed about the coffee shop's menu offerings, including seasonal specials and promotions.
Educate customers about different coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.

**Teamwork**:Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods.
Assist in restocking coffee beans, supplies, and other items as needed.
Work with other team members to maintain a clean and organized coffee shop environment.

**Customer Satisfaction**:Ensure that each customer receives prompt service and a memorable coffee experience.
Address customer concerns or complaints professionally and seek resolutions.

**Upselling and Cross-selling**:Suggest additional items like pastries, sandwiches, or coffee accessories to increase sales.
Promote loyalty programs or special promotions to customers.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and espresso machines is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
