About the Position

The position exists within the Student Services Department, to provide advice, information and guidance on career preparation, development and choices to undergraduate and postgraduate students of the University through workshops, one on one consultations and drop in sessions.

Essential Criteria
- A relevant tertiary qualification is required, preferably at post graduate level
- Experience in recruitment, training and/or HR industries
- Public speaking and presentation skills using a range of media
- Strong spoken and written English language skills
- A strong commitment to improving existing career services and developing new career services
- Ability to work on own initiative and have the drive to excel
- Show an ongoing, original/flexible approach to work tasks and environment
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Administration experience and familiarity with word processing and database software
- Culturally sensitive and non-judgmental
- Be an integral part of the total team
- Flexibility in scheduling as work timings for this position vary and may include weekends, evenings and public holidays
