In Middle East we are looking to recruit a **Business Development Manager for the Transport & Mobility for the Gulf Cooperation Council Area.**

**Main Responsibilities**:
Business Development Strategy definition and execution related to the GCC Countries in Railway, Metro and Mobility Market
Identifying new business opportunities through development of existing and new business needs.
Driving and monitoring the order intake pipeline for the Mobility Market by taking a targeted approach and connect with transport and mobility authorities.
Responsible for developing a plan to achieve main business objectives with focus on winning and maintaining profitable business.
Manage the financial forecast and cost projections for new business submissions.
Exploring opportunities for alliances and partnerships to explore new markets and opportunities
Working closely with the Infrastructure and Mobility BU management team to identify commercial opportunities.
Tracking competitor activity and providing updates on competitor news and intelligence.
Work across the RINA Group supporting ‘cross selling’ and mutual opportunities.
**Key Skills and Competencies**:
Possessing strong understanding of the market and competition positioning.
Building and Developing Professional/Technical Knowledge: Specialist expert and building capability in own team (or has influence technical/professional over others)
Business Development: Implementation of BD Activity; good understanding of financial planning.
Change, Innovation and Responsiveness: Leading Change
A strategic and creative mindset with excellent ability to understand and propose solutions by focusing on customers’ requirements.
Proven Negotiation Skills with ability to close business wins; Planning, Organising with Proactive Approach: Reacting to short term priorities and plan activities.
Great presentation skills and being able to convey the company’s solutions to prospective clients.
**What we are looking for**:
At least 10 years of experience in Business Development or related commercial role. A degree in Business Administration or Transportation is an advantage (or an equivalent combination of work and education).
A good and current personal national network within Railway & Metro market is essential.
Success with writing, appraising and negotiating detailed contracts and commercial agreements.
Strong business attitude, getting things done
Outstanding team-player and capability to work with distributed international teams
Fluency in English language is essential. Knowledge of another foreign language Arabic or French is desired.
Availability for travel in the Region.
**Education**:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering General
