Key Responsibilities:Planned & Rescue Excavations• Plan and undertake surveys and field excavations under the direction of the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi.• Conduct emergency rescue excavations on a year-round basis as required according to best practice.• Provide reports on lithics and stone tool assemblages.• Use appropriate tools and techniques to excavate archaeological sites, ensuring the preservation and documentation of archaeological artifacts and findings.• Record and document archaeological findings, including accurate measurements, photographs, sketches, detailed descriptions, and other required details.• Analyze artifacts and other materials recovered during excavations, utilizing appropriate methods and techniques.
