Registered General Nurses (RGN s) play a significant role in our client s Their main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Motivating residents to help restore and improve their health and self-esteem
  • Providing medication to residents
  • Providing psychological and physical support to residents, family members and friends
  • Identifying resident s care requirements
  • Assuring the quality of care to residents through adhering to therapeutic standards
  • Ensuring that residents and fellow employees adhere to infection control policies and protocols, medicine storage and administration procedures and substance control regulations
  • Evaluating residents who complain of specific ailments
  • Examining and authenticating vaccination records

You ll need a minimum of 12 months of experience post qualification, with Neuro experience being an advantage but not

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a registered
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination ) and willingness to follow them at all
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal
  • Responsible and
