We are looking for a front-end engineer who can help us build the next generation of enterprise-grade conversational AI platform.
Haptik s Hybrid Work Model:
  • Haptik plans to operate in a hybrid work-model where our employees will have the flexibility to Work-from-Home (WFH) for up to 3 out of 5 working days every week.
  • We currently have offices in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi. In March 2023, we will be opening one in Pune as well.
  • You re encouraged to apply only if you re either based in one of these 4 cities (Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune) or are open to relocating to one within 3 months of joining us.

What will you do every day?As a front-end tech lead you will be responsible for building the Haptik platform which is used by people across the globe. You will be working closely with the product, design and platform team on a day to day basis and be responsible for the look and feel of the product. While you know how to work hard, you also know how to have fun at work and make friends with your colleagues.
Ok, you're sold, but what are we looking for in the perfect candidate?
  • Have a keen eye for detail and passionate about UI and UX
  • Have a solid understanding of front-end technologies
  • Build, maintain and gate-keep the platform tools
  • Work closely with the PM and designers to deliver high quality features
  • Work closely with the backend engineers to understand the Haptik system and build for scale
  • High level estimating and scoping/breaking down of tasks
  • Document features to make them easily understandable to clients
  • Participate in code reviews, automated and functional testing, and other aspects of our quality assurance process
  • Use and promote standard good coding practices
  • Fully participate in a scrum-based, agile development team
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices
  • Work experience around optimizing build artifacts and performance monitoring
  • Following security standards when using cookies/others to store user information etc.

Requirements*
  • 3+ years of experience working on React.js
  • Prior experience of leading/mentoring a team is a plus
  • Knowledge of flux and redux
  • Must have extensive experience working on javascript, HTML
  • CSS, animations and UI/UX principles.
  • Knowledge of backend technologies is a plus
  • Good attention to detail, pixel perfect designs
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Good Communication skills
  • Hustler with the passion for writing good code
  • Team player
  • Must have experience in working in an agile environment, exposure to tools like Jira would be an added benefit
