Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Scheduling:

    • Develop detailed project schedules using planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
    • Establish project timelines milestones and deadlines in collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders.
    • Regularly update and maintain project schedules ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  2. Resource Allocation:

    • Identify and allocate necessary resources including labor materials and equipment to meet project requirements.
    • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of resources.

  3. Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Track project progress against the baseline schedule and identify any deviations.
    • Prepare and present regular progress reports including variance analysis and corrective action plans.
    • Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and ensure compliance with project plans.

  4. Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
    • Collaborate with project teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 35 years of experience in planning and scheduling within the civil construction industry.
    • Proven experience with planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Knowledge of construction processes methods and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certification in project management (e.g. PMP) or planning (e.g. PSP).
  • Experience with high rise buildings civil projects.
