The Clerk in the Oil & Gas industry Marine etc supports administrative and operational tasks to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with industry standards. This role involves handling documentation data entry coordination with different departments and providing general office support.

  1. Documentation and Data Entry:

    • Maintain and update records databases and files related to operational and administrative activities.
    • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the companys system.
    • Prepare and manage documentation for regulatory compliance and audits.
  2. Administrative Support:

    • Assist in the preparation of reports presentations and correspondence.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
    • Organize and schedule meetings appointments and travel arrangements.
  3. Coordination:

    • Liaise with various departments to gather information and ensure smooth communication.
    • Coordinate with vendors suppliers and contractors for procurement and logistical support.
    • Assist in coordinating training sessions and safety meetings.
  4. Inventory and Supplies Management:

    • Monitor and manage office supplies and inventory.
    • Assist in the procurement process including obtaining quotes and creating purchase orders.
  5. Compliance and Safety:

    • Support compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Assist in maintaining safety records and documentation.
  6. General Office Duties:

    • Handle phone calls direct calls and take messages as needed.
    • Greet and assist visitors and ensure a professional office environment.
    • Perform other administrative tasks as required.


Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or a related field are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a clerk administrative assistant or similar role in any industry preferably in the Oil & Gas Marine industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and office management software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
