ABOUT THE ROLE
The Lifestyle Amenity role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, enhancement, and overall experience of various indoor and outdoor lifestyle facilities within the community. This role ensures that all amenities, including gymnasiums, swimming pools, multi-function rooms, kids play areas, sports courts, skate parks, jogging tracks, and splash pads, are well-maintained, safe, and aligned with the residents' lifestyle expectations. The role involves strategic planning, budget management, and continuous improvement initiatives to uplift the community's lifestyle experience.
PERFORMANCE DRIVEN CULTURE: WHAT WILL YOU BE MEASURED AGAINST
AMENITY OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE

Ensure all lifestyle amenities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for residents' use.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify required upgrades or repairs.
Manage routine and preventive maintenance schedules for various facilities.
Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure high standards of maintenance.
LIFESTYLE ENHANCEMENT & RESIDENT ENGAGEMENT

Evaluate existing amenities and propose upgrades to enhance the lifestyle experience.
Develop and implement annual Amenities Enhancement Plans, including refurbishment initiatives.
Encourage sustainability practices such as reducing plastic usage, promoting green spaces, and maintaining eco-friendly recreational areas.
Oversee community programs, ensuring facilities meet resident expectations and promote wellness.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & BUDGETING

Plan and execute refurbishment projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
Work with management to define priorities for amenity improvements and capital expenditures.
Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective service delivery within allocated budgets.
HEALTH & SAFETY COMPLIANCE

Conduct risk assessments and implement health & safety protocols for all recreational spaces.
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, particularly for sports and children's play areas.
Develop and enforce policies regarding the appropriate use of amenities by residents.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & TRAINING

Lead and develop a small team responsible for maintaining lifestyle facilities.
Allocate team resources effectively to optimize amenity operations.
Provide training and support to ensure the team meets operational standards.
STAKEHOLDER AND VENDOR MANAGEMENT

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality service.
Engage with residents to gather feedback and incorporate suggestions into improvement plans.
Prepare and present reports to management regarding facility performance, upgrades, and resident satisfaction.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Technical Skills

Lifestyle & Wellbeing:

Understanding of community engagement and wellness initiatives.
Operational Excellence:

Experience in gym and sports facility management, playground upkeep, and safety regulations.
Contract & Vendor Management:

Oversight of maintenance contracts to ensure high service delivery.
Reporting & Analytics:

Ability to assess facility conditions, compile reports, and present data-driven improvement plans.
Regulatory Compliance:

Familiarity with local regulations related to community amenities, safety, and environmental considerations.
Competencies:

Leadership:

Ability to lead and motivate a small team to maintain high operational standards.
Strategic Thinking:

Capability to develop and implement amenity enhancement plans.
Problem-Solving:

Skilled in identifying issues, proposing solutions, and implementing effective resolutions.

Competence in making informed and timely decisions related to amenities operations.

Planning & Organizing:

Ability to efficiently plan, manage tasks, and allocate resources.
Negotiation Skills:

Ability to liaise with vendors, contractors, and community stakeholders for amenity-related projects.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Facility Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in lifestyle experience planning, community amenities management, or hospitality operations. Preferred background in hotel, hospitality, or lifestyle experience environments.
Certifications (Preferred):

Health & Safety, Facility Management, or relevant technical certifications.
Must be physically mobile and able to inspect facilities across multiple locations.
Should be energetic, proactive, and able to motivate teams.
Valid UAE Driving License required for on-site visits and operational management.
