Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement algorithmic trading strategies for intraday power markets across key European regions.
Analyse market trends such as renewable energy integration, demand variations, and regional price differences to uncover trading opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance trading models and system performance.
Manage trading risks and ensure adherence to risk management protocols.
Execute trades efficiently, ensuring accurate position management and reporting.
Requirements:
3-5 years in algorithmic trading, preferably in intraday power markets or energy trading.
Proficient in programming (Python, C++, etc.) and data analytics.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure.
Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or related fields.
