We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Commercial Manager

to oversee post-contract commercial management for a prestigious infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will have strong in cost control, risk management and strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a commercial management role within the infrastructure sector.
Proven infrastructure experience with specific exposure to projects in Abu Dhabi.
Strong expertise in contract administration, claims, and dispute resolution
FIDIC contract knowledge and experience handling variations, change orders, and final accounts
Advantageous: Experience working on DMT projects (roads, bridges, or ports).
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial & Contractual Management
Oversee post-contract commercial management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
Manage and administer contracts, including variations, claims, and change orders
Conduct tender analysis, bid leveling, and contract negotiations
Establish an efficient cost control and forecasting process
Ensure accurate measurement and quantity take-offs
Provide cost planning, cash flow projections, and budget updates
Evaluate and approve valuations, requisitions, and payment recommendations
Lead value engineering (VE) efforts to optimize project costs
Advise clients and project teams on financial and contractual matters
Chair commercial meetings, issue minutes, and provide project financial reports
Assist in risk management and claims mitigation strategies
Negotiate and agree on the final account for all contracts
