IT Technician Job Overview:
In the IT technician role, you are expected to be an expert in multiple computer systems and programs. Common tasks may include installing software, hardware, and operating systems, assisting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting technical issues with computers or office equipment, and updating and maintaining the company website and other technology touchpoints. Success in this role will be demonstrated by effectively and promptly solving technical issues so that normal business operations remain uninterrupted.

IT Technician Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems.
  • Install, configure, test & application software , system management tools.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving.
  • Excellent knowledge in Network Administration.
  • Experience with configuring routers, switches and firewalls.
  • System Maintenance and updates.
  • Using remote tools like TeamViewer, Any Desk or Zoom to assist users.
  • Have experience in familiarity with hardware components, Installation, and Troubleshooting.
  • Excellent knowledge in IP Addressing & Subnetting.
  • Design, implement, and optimize local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and cloud networks.
  • Installed, configured, and maintained operating systems (Windows 10/11 and Linux) across various devices , including desktops, laptops, and servers ensuring smooth functionality and user accessibility.
  • Setup and manage DHCP servers on platforms such as Windows Server, Linux, or networking devices (routers, switches).

IT Technician Job Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of work experience In UAE.
  • Advanced knowledge in commonly used Mac and Windows operating systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exemplary problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with networking protocols.

Associate degree; Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or in Computer Engineering.

or Diploma in Computer Engineering.
