PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer who will be responsible to set up program, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance and prepare library for all design with proper index.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities

  • Set up program, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance.
  • Prepare library for all design with proper index.
  • Prepare daily plan for CNC machine work.
  • Read and interpret 3D drawing and IGES File.
  • Properly and safely load and unload castings and raw materials in CNC machinery.
  • Use gauges and other measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
  • Ability to set up, program, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance. Must be self-sufficient.
  • Ability to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements.
  • Must be proficient with FANUC controls.
  • Understand, interpret and edit FANUC G-code programming.
  • Recognize, deploy and properly use inserts, fixtures and tooling.
  • Understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets.
  • Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of the machine shop work environment.
  • Provide constant feedback and input on the process improvement within the department.
  • Utilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
  • Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
  • Attend scheduled meetings and actively participate by providing meaningful inputs.
  • Be flexible with the time and schedule to assure availability to the company as circumstances require.
  • Communicate honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrate effective listening skills.
Skills/Experience
  • High school diploma or higher from technical specialization.
  • Minimum 4 - 5 years' experience in CNC programming.
  • Strong CNC machining background.
  • Experience of working with different materials: stainless steel, aluminum and castings.
  • Knowledge of CNC milling, lathe & drilling machines operations.
  • Open-minded, good listener.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer and MS software.
  • Fluency in the English language, working knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Physical And Mental Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
  • Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
  • Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  • Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
  • Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
