Our client is a diversified and ambitious investment-led group based in Fujairah with a portfolio of operating businesses and strategic investments across multiple sectors. The organisation offers a fast-paced, commercially driven environment where legal is viewed as a key business partner and enabler of growth.
- Serve as the principal legal adviser to the GCEO and senior stakeholders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters.
- Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex commercial agreements across the Group.
- Support acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
- Drive legal governance, risk management and legal operations, including matter tracking and reporting.
- Manage external law firms and legal advisers, ensuring high-quality support and cost-effective outcomes.
- Build legal frameworks, templates and processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and risk management across the organisation.
- Qualified lawyer (LLB, JD or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
- Approximately 8-12 years' post-qualification experience, gained in leading private practice and/or in-house environments.
- Strong corporate and commercial law background with experience negotiating complex agreements.
- Exposure to M&A, investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and legal due diligence.
- Experience working with senior executives and managing multiple legal matters in a dynamic business environment; UAE/GCC experience highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives, providing practical and solution-oriented advice to business leaders.
