Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Laundry Manager to be based in UAE. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of laundry operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and packaging.
  • Develop and implement efficient laundry processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all laundry equipment.
  • Manage inventory of laundry supplies and chemicals, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure consistent high-quality laundry services.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise laundry staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage workloads to ensure efficient operations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Resolve staff conflicts and address any disciplinary issues.

Quality Control and Customer Service:

  • Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and ensure all laundry is processed to the highest level.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve any laundry-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of chemicals.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, including chemical usage, equipment maintenance, and quality control checks.
  • Monitor and control laundry expenses, including labor, supplies, and utilities.
  • Prepare and manage the laundry budget.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Laundry Manager.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial laundry operations, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in English. Additional language is a plus.
