Job Summary:

The Quality Officer is responsible for ensuring that all engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities comply with project quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. This role involves monitoring quality processes, conducting inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance & Compliance
    • Ensure all EPC activities align with company quality standards, project specifications, and industry regulations (ISO 9001, ASME, API, etc.).
    • Assist in developing and implementing Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and policies.
    • Support project teams in maintaining compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
  2. Quality Control & Inspections
    • Identify areas for quality improvement and suggest process enhancements.
    • Conduct training sessions on quality procedures and best practices for EPC teams.
    • Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
  3. Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain and update quality records, inspection reports, and test results.
    • Assist in preparing quality-related documentation for client approvals.
    • Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
    • Identify non-conformances, report quality issues, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (NCRs & CAPA).
    • Conduct inspections and audits on materials, fabrication, welding, painting, and other construction activities.
    • Verify compliance with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
