About the Role

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Korean Language Tutorto help children, teenagers, university students, and adults develop confidence and fluency in Korean. You will deliver personalised lessons in speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and Korean culture while adapting instruction to learners' personal, academic, travel, professional, or examination goals.

The successful candidate will prepare learners for internationally recognised Korean language proficiency examinations and support those interested in Korean culture, business, higher education, or relocation.

Key Responsibilities

Assess learners' Korean language proficiency and learning objectives

Deliver personalised one-to-one or small-group Korean lessons

Teach speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational Korean

Teach Hangul reading and writing to beginners

Prepare students for TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) and other recognised Korean language assessments

Support learners studying Korean for school, university, business, travel, or personal enrichment

Develop engaging lessons using authentic materials, multimedia resources, and practical communication activities

Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents

Collaborate with Simone's Tutoring language specialists to support multilingual learning

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Korean Language, Korean Studies, Linguistics, Education, Modern Languages, or a related field

MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain

Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Korean

Native or near-native proficiency in Korean

Strong spoken and written English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Korean Studies, Education, or a related discipline

Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language (KFL) certification or equivalent

Experience preparing students for TOPIK examinations

Experience teaching learners of different ages and proficiency levels

Experience teaching within international educational environments

UAE Licensing Requirements

Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the UAE through one of the following:

Own UAE Employment Visa

Green Visa

Freelance Permit

Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility

Any other valid UAE work authorisation

Required Experience

2+ years teaching Korean

Experience preparing students for TOPIK or equivalent proficiency examinations

Experience delivering personalised one-to-one or small-group tuition

Experience teaching learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds

Simone's Tutoring is a premium home-based educational support company providing tutoring, learning support, early intervention, special educational needs support, therapy partnerships, coaching, and holistic wellbeing services across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Al Ain. We deliver personalised, child-centred services in students' homes, online, and in schools while collaborating with qualified professionals from multiple disciplines.

Compensation
Earn 60% commission on all checked-in, completed, and fully paid lessons and language programmes.
Commission is paid on successfully completed sessions after client payment has been received.
Payments are processed monthly.
Independent contractor position.
