The Role

Due to continued expansion and company growth we are looking for a Contracts Engineer to work with our Data Center Colo customers to be based from our Dubai office to cover the middle east region. You'll have the ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people, and systems to improve complex processes. In addition, you'll be experienced in meeting tight deadlines while managing multiple projects. This role reports into our Middle East sales manager.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring delivery of projects in line with contract requirements/terms to Data Center projects.
  2. Analyse contractual gap analysis in colocation contracts.
  3. Responsibility for Airedale program of works (design, manufacture, supply, commissioning, IST, documentation provision etc.) and how this fits with client program of works.
  4. Liaising directly with customers regarding specification queries, program of works updates, payment application queries/disputes.
  5. Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure that their orders are processed to meet with their expectations and communicate progress updates, ensuring delivery, commission and site works are completed on time.
  6. Support contract transactions; generating and processing service orders; vendor communications; obtaining internal financial, technical, and legal approvals.
  7. Track and manage individual gap remediation projects.
  8. Manage a global portfolio of commercial agreements for critical data centre infrastructure.
  9. Lead process improvements for automation and scalability.
  10. Develop metrics and analyse trends.
  11. It will be expected to travel to meetings with customers at Data Center locations.
  12. 2/3 trips per year to our Leeds site in the UK.

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 3+ years of demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas: contracts management and/or lease management.
  2. Minimum of 3+ Year Data Centre commercial contract experience.
  3. HNC/HND/degree in an engineering discipline.
  4. Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
  5. Positive and proactive attitude.
  6. Experience in handing contract terms and conditions.
  7. Commercial knowledge and experience of dealing with customers.
