Role Context

This role is responsible for leading the International Baccalaureate Career‑related Programme within a high‑performing secondary school, driving academic outcomes, strengthening student pathways, and maintaining compliance with global IB frameworks while supporting institutional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of the IBCP framework across the secondary phase
• Oversee curriculum delivery, assessment standards, and programme compliance with IB requirements
• Guide students in academic counselling, subject selection, and career pathway planning
• Manage core programme elements including Reflective Project, Personal and Professional Skills, and Community Engagement
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership teams to maintain consistent programme quality
• Track student progress and introduce improvement strategies based on performance data
• Support teacher development through mentoring, coaching, and structured training initiatives
• Coordinate with external bodies and ensure readiness for inspections and accreditations
• Promote a culture of academic excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Ideal Profile

• Strong experience working with IB programmes, ideally IBCP within secondary education
• Proven leadership background in post‑16 or secondary school environments
• Deep knowledge of IB curriculum frameworks, assessment methods, and compliance standards
• Experience supporting student academic pathways and higher education guidance
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage academic initiatives
• Commitment to continuous improvement and educational innovation
