This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for handling customer billing and payments, operating the POS system, maintaining accurate transaction records, and supporting smooth front-counter operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer billing and payment transactions accurately.
• Operate the restaurant POS system for order entry and billing.
• Receive cash, credit/debit cards, and other approved payment methods.
• Issue receipts and provide correct change to customers.
• Maintain accurate cash and transaction records.
• Perform cash reconciliation at the end of each shift.
• Check and report any cash or billing discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist customers with billing, menu, and payment-related queries.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth order processing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cashier counter.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling, billing, refunds, and cancellations.
• Provide polite and professional customer service.
• Support other restaurant operations when required.
• Follow all company health, safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.

Requirements

• High School / Intermediate education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in cashier, restaurant, retail, or customer-service roles is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS and billing systems.
• Good cash-handling and basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work accurately during busy periods.
• Honest, responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
