Job DescriptionThis entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a passion for networking and a desire to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. Engineers will be mainly responsible for troubleshooting L1 issues and coordinating with senior engineers for L2 & L3 issues.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Support network monitoring and performance analysis using various tools.
- Troubleshoot network issues and assist in resolving connectivity problems.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to configure and manage routers, switches, WLCs, and firewalls.
- Participate in network documentation and maintain accurate records of configurations and changes.
- Assist in the deployment of network security measures and policies.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and end-users as needed.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in networking.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Subnetting).
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- CCNA or equivalent Certificate.
- Basic understanding of routing protocols and firewall policies.
- Experience with Cisco, Huawei, or similar networking equipment is a plus.
- Hands-on experience through internships or academic projects involving networking.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python) is a bonus.
