Senior Front-End Developer (React Native, ReactJS)

SuperApp is an all-in-one mobile platform specifically designed for streamlined restaurant operations. It's packed with a range of tools tailored to the needs of restaurant managers and staff, enabling them to efficiently manage daily tasks, benefit from data-driven suggestions, get timely operational prompts, and stay updated with an interactive activity feed.

The innovative edge of the SuperApp lies in its 'brain layer'—an advanced recommendation engine that compiles data through different operational data sources. This engine employs machine learning to offer smart insights, thereby enhancing the decision-making process and restaurant operations.

Our team operates globally with offices in the UK, Dubai, and US, as we are now installed in over 9,500 stores worldwide.

THE JOB

Mobile and Web App Development:

  1. Design and develop high-performance and scalable mobile applications using React Native. React Native expertise is essential.
  2. Extend expertise to ReactJS for web application development, ensuring consistency across platforms.

Code Review and Mentorship:

  1. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
  2. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Cross-Platform Development:

  1. Leverage React Native for cross-platform mobile development, ensuring a seamless user experience on both iOS and Android platforms.
  2. Apply ReactJS skills for web application development, maintaining a unified codebase and user experience.
  3. Collaborate with backend developers to design and implement API endpoints, ensuring smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.

Troubleshooting and Optimization:

  1. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues in mobile and web applications.
  2. Optimize code and implement best practices to enhance overall application performance.

Your skills and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Experience: 5+ years in large-scale ReactJS & React Native applications.
  2. Communication: Strong spoken and written English for international collaboration.
  3. Design Systems: Expertise in Material-UI or similar component libraries.
  4. Monorepo Management: Hands-on experience with Nx.
  5. Cloud & Deployment: Proficiency in AWS, Firebase, CI/CD, automated deployments, environment configuration, and cloud infrastructure.
  6. Authentication & Security: Experience with OAuth, JWT, Firebase Auth, Cognito, and secure microservices integration.
  7. Monitoring & Stability: Proficiency in Sentry, Datadog, Crashlytics, and real-time error tracking.
  8. Performance Optimization: Expertise in profilers, TTID, Cold Start time improvements.
  9. Native Debugging: Strong skills in Java/Kotlin (Android) & Objective-C/Swift (iOS) for React Native optimization.
  10. Product Ownership: Proactive mindset, continuous improvement, and industry awareness.
  11. Mentorship & Leadership: Guide junior engineers, foster knowledge sharing, and support Agile collaboration.

  3. E2E Testing: Experience with Cypress, Detox, or similar frameworks.
