Job Description
We are currently hiring an experienced and dynamic Project Director with a strong background in pipeline engineering to lead and oversee major infrastructure projects in the oil & gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for full project lifecycle management from concept to commissioning, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, safety standards, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale pipeline engineering projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, commissioning, and HSE functions.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Oversee contractor and vendor management, ensuring quality and performance metrics are met.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety codes, and company policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and project reviews to ensure continuous improvement and problem resolution.
- Drive innovation and efficiency in project execution, engineering solutions, and cost control.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Pipeline Engineering.
- Over 5 years of proven experience in project management and pipeline infrastructure in oil & gas or energy industries.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of pipeline design, construction, and commissioning practices.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
