Workshop Manager – MEP Maintenance – AF Engineering

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage electromechanical workshop
- Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labor allocation for day to day operations
- Hands-on experience in AC Compressors, repair and rewinding of electrical motors, pumps from 1 HP to 100 HP
- Assisting with quotes, project management, materials purchasing and quality checks
- Ensuring correct job numbers are used and that time records are correct
- Providing oversight and check job estimates
- Managing inward goods, checking quantities, dispatching goods and invoices
- Acting as a technical adviser on key projects and other areas of the business when required
- Receiving and review feedback from customers and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Promoting a Health and Safety culture within the business
To be successful in winning this role, the following are the prerequisites:
- Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 7 plus years of hands-on experience in managing an electromechanical workshop
- Must have experience managing a team
