Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst who can lead business analysis activities for a major digital transformation project?

We're recruiting a role for our client that requires strategic thinking, analytical skills, and hands-on experience in process engineering, customer experience, and business requirements definition. The successful candidate will drive business process re-engineering, develop standard operating procedures, and utilise industry-standard tools to support digital solutions.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis activities: Conduct business and digital product requirement definition and analysis across digital transformation initiatives.
  • Customer experience development: Create comprehensive user journey maps, personas, and user stories to align business needs with system functionalities.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and define business requirements.
  • Lead Business Process Reengineering (BPR) activities to identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and enhanced customer experience.
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes, policies manuals, and business rules.
  • Engage in workshops with stakeholders to understand current business processes and design future-state solutions.
  • Provide expertise in designing and developing digital solutions across various channels (web, mobile, chatbot, IVR, Social Media).
  • Utilise design tools like Figma to create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Develop business reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to support decision-making.
  • Conduct gap analysis and risk assessments, presenting solutions to overcome obstacles.
  • Facilitate change management to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
Skills and qualifications
  • Business Process Re-engineering (BPR)
  • User Journey Mapping
  • Customer Persona Identification
  • SOPs and Business Rules Documentation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively
  • Strong presentation and documentation skills
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
Technical skills
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools like ARIS
  • Experience with UX/UI design tools like Figma
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, SDLC, or other enterprise-level systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Certifications
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) - preferred
  • TOGAF or Business Process Management (BPM) certification - a plus
  • ARIS Certification - highly preferred
Experience
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3-5 years in digital transformation projects.
  • Proven experience in drafting user journeys, defining personas, and documenting customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated expertise in BPR, process optimisation, and improving business workflows.
  • Experience with creating SOPs and documenting business rules.
  • Strong experience with ARIS and Figma.
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end business analysis activities.
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience in Consultancy
