Company Overview:

We are a prominent regional leader specializing in the distribution of reliable and high-quality aftermarket automotive products, including auto parts, batteries, and lubricants, across the UAE, Qatar, and select African markets.

We are looking for a driven and results-focused Senior Business Development Executive to join our International Business team. This role is responsible for expanding the sales and business development of aftermarket automotive products such as batteries and auto parts within the MENA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the MENA region for automotive aftermarket products, particularly focusing on batteries and auto parts.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with potential clients, distributors, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends, growth opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
  • Understand customer requirements and tailor product solutions to meet regional demands effectively.
  • Stay informed about relevant local regulations and industry standards in the automotive sector within the MENA region.
  • Keep up with the latest innovations in batteries, auto parts, and automotive technology.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales goals, including managing receivables, and report progress to the leadership team.
  • Leverage CRM systems to maintain accurate sales data and track performance.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in all business operations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket sector, including market trends, consumer behavior, and technological advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Solid knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Proficiency in the local language is required.
  • Familiarity with local trade laws and regulations within the MENA region.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
