Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Switch, Parker's, Grind, Somewhere and Public.

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Junior Brand Manager. Responsible for developing and executing creative strategies that enhance our brand identity and drive engagement across various platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visually compelling content that aligns with our brand vision and business objectives. Your expertise in design principles, branding, and marketing will be crucial in ensuring that our brand stands out in a competitive market. You will oversee the entire creative process, from concept development to final execution, ensuring consistency and quality in all deliverables. Additionally, you will manage brand guidelines, conduct market research, and analyze consumer trends to inform your creative decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design and branding capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute creative strategies that align with brand objectives.
  2. Create visually compelling content for various platforms, including digital, print, and social media.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  4. Manage the entire creative process from concept to final execution.
  5. Maintain and update brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels.
  6. Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to inform creative decisions.
  7. Oversee the production of marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, and promotional items.
  8. Ensure all design work meets quality standards and brand guidelines.
  9. Present creative concepts and designs to stakeholders for approval.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in design and branding.
  11. Manage external vendors and agencies for specialized design projects.
  12. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and implement brand campaigns.
  13. Monitor and report on the performance of creative initiatives.
  14. Provide creative direction and feedback to junior designers and freelancers.
  15. Develop and maintain a strong visual identity for the brand.
  16. Ensure timely delivery of all creative projects.
  17. Work within budget constraints to deliver high-quality design solutions.
  18. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and concepts.
  19. Create and manage a content calendar for brand-related activities.
  20. Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in creative design and brand management.
  3. Strong portfolio showcasing design and branding capabilities.
  4. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Strong understanding of design principles and branding strategies.
  8. Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms.
  9. Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  10. Ability to think creatively and strategically.
  11. Strong project management skills.
  12. Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  13. Knowledge of current design trends and best practices.
  14. Ability to take constructive feedback and make necessary revisions.
  15. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  16. Experience with video editing and animation software is a plus.
  17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  18. Strong problem-solving skills.
  19. Experience with web design and user experience (UX) principles.
  20. Ability to manage external vendors and agencies.
