We are a fast-growing international Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Consultancy with our headquarters in the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC). Job Purpose

You will report to the Risk Management Director and manage a portfolio of clients on an ongoing basis by acting as their outsourced Risk Officer. In addition, you will deliver a variety of assurance and advisory-based risk and business continuity engagements.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead on the development and maintenance of risk management frameworks, covering operational, credit and market risk within the UAE, KSA, and other jurisdictions.
2. Work with clients to determine each firm's risk appetite, as aligned to their strategy and business objectives.
3. Host risk workshops to support the development of risk registers and RCSAs.
4. Deliver Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) exercises.
5. Attend board meetings and provide risk management updates concerning changes to each client's risk profile.
6. Develop best-in-class risk management policies and procedures.

Experience (essential to any successful application)

1. Minimum 10+ years' overall relevant experience with 6 or more years of either risk management experience within the financial services industry (or in a professional services firm advising financial services clients).
2. Experience of creating and implementing industry-leading approaches to risk management within financial services or other commercial and/or public sector institutions.
3. Knowledge and experience of designing and implementing risk management processes across various risk areas including strategic risk, financial risk, operational risk, etc.
4. Practical experience of business continuity including the development of Business Continuity Plans, Business Impact Analysis and IT Disaster Recovery Plan (DR) plans.
5. Practical experience of overseeing cyber security arrangements from policy management and governance perspective.
6. Awareness of current global trends in risk management and knowledge of good risk management practice.
7. Previous experience of working in professional services, especially when working in business development (preferable).
8. Experience of risk management in the MENA region, including interaction with regulatory authorities e.g. Dubai Financial Services Authority (DIFC), Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), and others.

2. Ability to design and implement Credit, Liquidity and Operational Risk Management frameworks and processes.

Qualifications

1. Minimum bachelor's degree from a leading university with concentration preferably in Risk Management, Business Studies or Finance.
2. Current risk management certification from CERA, CRM, FRM, PRM, or RIMS is essential.
