Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Optical Technician with hands-on experience in optical shop operations, lens cutting, and fitting. The ideal candidate should be proficient in operating automatic lens edging machines and ensuring accurate lens fitting as per customer prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, edge, and fit optical lenses into spectacle frames as per prescriptions.
• Operate and maintain automatic lens edging machines and related optical equipment.
• Perform lens fitting, alignment, and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort.
• Verify lens measurements and ensure accuracy and quality of finished eyewear.
• Assist customers with frame adjustments and basic optical requirements.
• Maintain optical tools, equipment, and a clean, organized workspace.

• Open to all nationalities, subject to UAE employment eligibility and company requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an optical shop or optical laboratory.
• Strong hands-on experience in lens cutting, edging, and fitting.
• Mandatory experience operating automatic lens edging machines.
• Knowledge of optical lenses, spectacle frames, measurements, and prescriptions.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of accuracy.

Candidate Preferences

• Candidates currently in Al Ain are preferred.
• Candidates from Abu Dhabi and other UAE locations may also apply if willing to relocate to Al Ain.
