What We Expect Of You

1. You are responsible to assist the IT Manager in the operation of all computer hardware and/or software installation and maintenance.
2. Serve as secondary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware and/or software.
3. Responsible for managing technology/asset life-cycle, and ensures that necessary equipment (PCs, servers, telecom-related etc.) is ordered and available.
4. Accountable for disaster recovery and business continuity as it relates to technology.
5. Foresees, identifies and resolves system(s)' performance problems.
6. Ensures technology assets are secure and well-maintained in accordance with Rixos policies and standards.
7. Installs, monitors, maintains telecommunications equipment including cabling and providing technical guidance as needed.
8. Performs adds/moves/changes/deletions.
9. Troubleshoots high-speed Internet access problems.
10. Escalates problems as appropriate through IT Manager.
11. Desktop Support.
12. Images desktops, installs new software applications, applies patches, maps drives to correct server/network.
13. HARDWARE: Supports the Hotel in resolving Hardware issues through escalation of issues with Hardware partners.
14. SOFTWARE: Ensures that all Accor IT Policies and Guidelines are being applied in the hotel.
15. Moves/adds/changes PCs/peripherals; migrating data when necessary.
16. Maintain a full inventory of all Hardware and software related supplies.
17. Maintain a log of all computer hardware and a log of all services calls on computer hardware.
18. Manage the configuration records, programme files and data files on the computer system.
19. Monitor the performance of the computer software and maintain a log of performance reports, error and integrity check reports, system malfunctions and solutions.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in IT, fresher or 1-year experience in 4-5 star hotel.
