Detailed Job Description

As a Senior Agentic AI Engineer (FDE) at The Digital X in Dubai, UAE, you will take full ownership of end-to-end AI agent implementation, backend API integration, model fine-tuning, and containerized deployment automation. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass engineering resilient multi-agent frameworks, integrating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, containerizing workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, and optimizing inference performance. You will collaborate proactively with cross-functional software engineering squads to troubleshoot production defects, perform code reviews, and deliver high-quality AI solutions on schedule. Working in a fast-paced technology consulting environment, you will drive engineering excellence, artificial intelligence innovation, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents, multi-agent systems, and Generative AI applications.
• Spearhead frontend and backend integration for AI-powered web applications utilizing Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript.
• Build high-performance LLM integration pipelines, prompt chaining mechanisms, and autonomous agent workflows.
• Manage, tune, and optimize vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant) and semantic search indexes.
• Configure, administer, and maintain containerized deployment environments utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Oversee end-to-end software configuration management, git version control workflows, and automated MLOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Direct unit testing, integration testing, and automated test-driven development (TDD) for AI models and microservices.
• Collaborate proactively with cross-functional software engineering squads, QA teams, and enterprise client stakeholders in Dubai.
• Troubleshoot complex AI inference incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and execute rapid performance optimizations.
• Ensure strict adherence to corporate coding standards, security baselines, and software engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 6+ years of professional software engineering and AI development experience.
• Strong technical proficiency and hands‑on operational mastery of Python, PyTorch, LangChain, AutoGen, and CrewAI.
• Extensive practical experience building and deploying generative AI applications, LLM integrations, and RAG pipelines.
• Proven proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and vector databases.
• Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong operational mastery of git version control, build tools, and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Professional availability for full-time permanent employment in Dubai, UAE.

• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty or Azure AI Engineer Associate.
